Announcing the participants in the IMUSE Summer 2008 Olympic Fellowship! These five students will travel to Beijing, meet and interact with the 2008 IMUSE delegates, and explore Beijing through a number of activities, including visits to Beijing's major cultural attractions, guest lectures, a visit to the Beijing Olympic headquarters, and the chance to attend a number of Olympic competitions. Update (Aug 2):

The 2008 China In My Eyes Contest winners arrived at Beijing International Airport this afternoon to kick off the IMUSE 2008 Summer Olympic Fellowship. Over the next two weeks, the Fellows will travel through Beijing, tour the Beijing Olympic Committee facilities, meet and discuss contemporary issues with other Chinese and American students, and view Olympic Competitions. Update (Sept 14):

The IMUSE Summer 2008 Olympic Fellowship was a great success! The four grand prize winners of the China in My Eyes Essay and Photo Contest traveled to Beijing from August 1, 2008 to August 14, 2008. While in Beijing they met and interacted with students from Beijing and Tsinghua Universities, explored Beijing through in the midst of the 2008 Summer Olympics, attended guest lectures, visited the Beijing Olympic headquarters, and attended a number of Olympic competitions. Each of the fellows then wrote about their experience in either an essay or a daily blog. You can read about some of their adventures below!
